The farming at Bogstad Manor is managed by the Oslo Municipality.

The farm has a diverse livestock population including cattle, horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, turkeys, and chickens. We cultivate grass for animal feed, oats, wheat, and potatoes. The farming operation is organic and certified by Debio.

Visit

The Visitor Barn is open to the public Tuesday to Friday from 12 PM to 4 PM, and the last Sunday of the month from 11 AM to 4 PM. Admission is free for everyone. Entrance is via the courtyard.

From around the middle of May, the barn is closed, and the animals graze around the farm.
