Craftsmen’s Street

At Craftsmen’s Street at Bogstad Manor, five traditional craft businesses maintain their workshops. The building, once a carriage house, stables, and tool shed, is now alive with activity and the timeless art of traditional craftsmanship.

Hulda Bunader

Hulda Bunader is a traditional bunad maker with its own sewing studio and boutique on Craftsmen’s Street. We create both new bunads and offer services for alterations and repairs.

The bunad is a central part of Norway’s cultural heritage, and we are proud to share our knowledge. Sustainability and quality are at the heart of what we do — all our bunads are crafted in our sewing studio at Bogstad Manor. We do not use overseas production.

We also want to make it possible for those who wish to sew their own bunads to do so, offering patterns, fabric by the meter, or complete material kits with sewing instructions.
